Shopify Rebellion has announced its new Rocket League roster, adding two-thirds of the 2025 World Championship-winning NRG roster. Shopify Rebellion announced the signing of the former NRG pair alongside their coach, keeping together the core of one of NA’s most successful teams. Shopify Rebellion put faith in former NRG core Shopify Rebellion’s new Rocket League roster is: Massimo ‘Atomic’ Franceschi Daniel ‘Daniel’ Piecenski Jason ‘Firstkiller’ Corral Matthew ‘Satthew’ Ackermann (Coach) Overall, the project is clearly a continuation of the NRG roster that claimed the Rocket League 2025 World Championship. 2026 saw the roster continue to largely dominate regionally, winning three NA Open events, however, the picture was less impressive internationally. The team started with a good run at the Boston Major, finishing in 3rd/4th-place, but both the Paris Major and the Esports World Cup were horribly disappointing for the team, finishing 9th-12th at the events. 2026 Worlds saw NRG recover somewhat to top their group, but the team ultimately fell 0-2 in the Playoffs after losses to FUT and eventual champions Team Falcons. Therefore, the team staying together as a trio was not sustainable, with Landon ‘BeastMode’ Konerman going his own way, but the core of Atomic, Daniel, and Satthew clearly believe that they can reestablish themselves at the top of Rocket League, signing to join Firstkiller, who has been with Shopify Rebellion since September 2025. Shopify Rebellion aims to challenge top teams in the Rocket League Club Championship The announcement comes amidst several other roster announcements in the Rocket League space as organizations gear up for the 2027 season and the new semi-franchised system: The RLCS Club Championship. For partnered teams, the new season will start with the RLCS Club Championship 2027 Kick-Off in London from December 9-13, giving partnered teams a hard deadline for their roster news. Shopify Rebellion is one of those partnered teams, taking part in the North American regional competition as part of the new circuit, which will see a $2.5 million prize pool for Club Championship events. Regionally, Shopify will have to compete with Spacestation Gaming, FUT, NRG, and Gen.G Mobi1 Racing, which also announced their roster, featuring the other third of the NRG 2025 World Championship squad, Landon ‘BeastMode’ Konerman. ApparentlyJack will coach BeastMode as he aims to get one up on his former teammates, but before those regional competitions begin, the Kick Off event will bring together global competition, with Gentle Mates also present. Gentle Mates’ new roster is arguably the most ambitious in Rocket League history, with a roster that demands instant success. Shopify Rebellion will be aiming to disrupt Gentle Mates and Team Falcons as the dominant forces in Rocket League in 2027 from Kick Off to the Rocket League 2027 World Championship.
